I'm joining Karin and Åsa with a monthly moodboard for August - a collection of seasonal flowers, and foliage from the garden. This month was tricky, not because flowers were hard to find, it was taking the shots this time. I chose lunchtime on a sunny day, the room was hot, the flowers were wilting, and the sun was casting crazy shadows. But I quite like the effect - sunny colours basking in the bright sun while the dusky hues linger in the shade.

Great colours there Polly! Not sure what the yellow flowers are but they remind me of daffodils - won't be too long before we're seeing them again ;) Jane x
ReplyDeleteJane, thanks. The yellows are begonia, courgette and I don't know the 3rd. Your right though daffodil yellows! I had a catalogue arrive yesterday full of daffodil bulbs, I'd love to fill the garden with so many.
DeleteBeautiful! So much colour from your garden. I always find them so hard to photograph, there are either to many shadows or they look really dark! xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Caroline :)
DeleteSo pretty ... and so many beautiful flowers ... your garden must be a riot of colour ... Bee xx
ReplyDeleteIf only it was a riot of colour I'd be so happy! Our garden's quite large and the colours, though lots, are quite spread apart. One day, in time I might achieve that riot ;)
