some good places in cambridge and london
Last week, D and I enjoyed a little time off from work and hung out in Cambridge and London. I didn't manage to take many pictures, so I thought I'd share some links instead.
In Cambridge
- see art and life at Kettles Yard
- taste good coffee and tortilla at Sticky Beaks
- feast on delicious bread and goodness at Aromi
- try Fitzbillies for more good coffee
- Artworlds is my kind of bookshop heaven
- SCP my favourite furniture store
- everything is nice in YCN store
- eat well at Ottolenghi in Islington
- I wish the Estorick Collection belonged to me!
- John Salt is a good place to unwind with a drink
PS I haven't been asked to mention these places, they are just places I like.

Hello! Hope you are all well. It seems ages since my last post. Life has been busy, especially at work; a staff art show I entered, book deadlines, getting stuff ready for the fairs and then this past week various events to participate in. It's all been a lot of fun, a fair amount of pressure and I can tell you I'm glad things there will be a little calmer over the coming weeks, but mostly I'm just looking forward to this weekend. I plan to relax, get out and enjoy some fresh air.
I really hope you all enjoyed my last post, I love the Creatives Series so much and hopefully I'll share a few more lovely and incredibly talented people with you soon.
If you follow me on Instagram, chances are you'll have seen some of these before, if that's the case I apologise!
• flowers from D, that lasted so well
• a box of delights and pide
• a happy hanger from the car boot
• flowers on a rather nice Ikea tray
• looking out the train window

reminiscing
I had some of my instagram pictures printed by the folk at Printstagram. I was really pleased with the quality and how they turned out. We used them as gift tags on our Christmas presents. It's nice looking back and remembering some magical moments, like when Tit was just a little duck (see her at the top, hiding behind the shower curtain).

Hello! I haven't posted one of these 'lately' posts for a long time, in fact I haven't been posting that much at all. No good excuses, I guess I've just been enjoying my time at home by hanging out with D, rather than squinting away at the computer. And I can blame the lack of light a little too, it just makes it harder trying to get some nice shots to fill this space. I hope you don't mind too much and that you'll keep popping back to this little corner of the blogosphere, I do love your company and comments so much. I hope to be back with a few more posts soon.
- pretty stones, in town
- red skies
- dark mornings
- a favourite lunch
- flowers from D
- markings on the pavement
