nature in the home

I'm really enjoying Lou's series 'nature in the home'. This week I've filled a vase with alkanet, we've tonnes of the stuff growing in our garden, I love the piercing blue, the little splashes of it are so small yet it still manages to dazzle.

  1. You know this keeps popping up in my garden and I've never known what it is. I must say I tend to pull most of it up as it is quite rampant but I always leave a couple of patches - the blue really is quite piercing. Lovely x Jane

    1. Oh yes it's crazy stuff pops up everywhere! I'm always digging it up from my beds but leave it to go a bit wild in other places.
