Do you find things in the garden when you're digging? We do. Mostly bits of rubble and flint, worms too of course - Tit and Pie are straight in the hole after them. But sometimes we find treasure, well little things I keep, these things.
What amazing finds, I love the glass bottles and stopper. We used to find lots of interesting things in the house where I grew up - we had an old house with a big vegi patch and I loved digging for treasure. Dont seem to find so much in recent houses though! xx
It's funny I hadn't realised how much we had found till I rummaged around, I had little piles of treasure scattered round the garden, the shed and the greenhouse! The little bottles make the perfect vase for a single flower.
I have memories of finding marbles in the garden when I was little (actually I think it was probably Mum and Dad that found them and I just got to keep them) :)
You're lucky to find such things (glass bottles are lovely). I have never found anything (except rocks...) digging and gardening in my little garden :)

ReplyDeleteYour right I think we are pretty lucky, I wonder if it used to be used as a bit of a dump! Hope you find some treasure one day, you never know ;-)
